ANITA SHOT did very
few shows, but the ones we did were so much fun. Members were
David Lee Williams, Rayne,
Christian
and the first drummer was David
Geer...second drummer was Bobby
Tocco. We got the name from an old knock, knock joke we used to
tell in our gigs at bars. This goes waaaay back to the Fyre and Rayne
duo days when an old friend of ours by the name of Anita used to buy
us Jager shots until we...well, I don't quite remember much after
that! ;-) We've calmed down a bit since then, but the joke still lives
on, and our old friend Anita lives in St. Louis now. The name is a
tribute to the good times we shared! We performed at CJ's Landing
for New Years as well as a big HOOTERSPALOOZA performance, which we
recorded and is available on cd with Southside Steve from 96 rock,
working up the crowd and proclaiming "that was the best Bon Jovi
cover I ever heard!!!" That cd IS available by special request.
