I traded the top 40 cover band RAYZE for the heavier road band called Badd Manners. We toured all over the easter half of the USA. A big learning experience for a budding young rocker named David Lee Williams!
Badd Manners / Badd Madame / the legend of the Badd Boy lives on!

The Badd Manners days were a serious learning experience for me that broadened my horizons and honed my skills and really taught me that I LOVE the road. This band originated in Vincennes, IN. I joined this band, or you could say I was traded to this band, from the band Rayze...their singer went to Rayze and I went to Badd Manners. We had some good times, some badd times, but we were almost always on the go, up and down the east coast, as far west as Ottumwa, Iowa. We were a heavy metal band with me as front man, Big Danny Phillips as lead guitar and part time vocalist, Scott Ridge on drums, Pat McClure on bass, and several other guys who played rhythm guitars at various times...Greg and Jeff. We had a road crew that did most of the set up work...I remember Groucho, Chunk, and Big D's wife-Patty on lights. There was Brad on sound, and if I'm forgetting someone, please let me know. I was with Badd Manners off and on for a year or so, and the band went through a name change to Badd Madame, then I left permanently. Big D and I finally got back in touch recently thanks to the internet. He is also performing a bunch up in Indiana. A real trooper, kinda like yours truly! As soon as I gather the links, I'll have more pix on this page, until then, you can go HERE and see some old BM pix.
