The SuperSampler story!
Who We
Are...
The
SuperSampler FREE CD concept is a product of Thrif-t-disc, Inc. Although,
free CDs are nothing new, the concept of SuperSampler CDs is the brainchild
of musician/songwriter/performer David Lee Williams. He has over 15
years of live performance experience and has released a few CDs on his
own. He also has experience in the graphic design and promotion industries,
which lend considerably to the operation of Thrif-t-disc, Inc. Diana
M. Williams, who also happens to be his wife, aids him in running the
company. Diana brings 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and
business management to Thrif-t-disc. Among the positions she has held
are Executive Vice President of a Texas Chamber of Commerce, Flight
Operations Administrator for a national airline, and Area Sales Coordinator
for a major hotel chain. Together, they form the heart and soul of this
young, fast growing company.
The Concept
...
David
Williams came up with the concept of SuperSampler Free CDs over time.
The name of the company was the result of a dream David had one hot
afternoon while taking a nap. SuperSampler is the name of our #1 product,
which is an advertiser funded compilation CD of various independent
artists who wish to get their name out to the public. It is our sincere
wish that these free CDs act as a bridge between music lovers and the
artists they want to hear but don't know exist. In today's fast paced
digital age, it's easy enough to get free downloads, but this is something
that you can carry around and show friends and add to your collection
of CDs.
Our Game
Plan...
We
have a plan, and we believe it is a good one, which will one day empower
independent artists in such a way that they won't need to rely on the
outside chance that a record company might like their music. The truth
is folks; we don't need a record "deal". The secret to any big act being
a big act is exposure. It takes massive amounts of exposure to get a
few fans, and SuperSampler CDs may be one way of getting their name
out to the public.

so much for your support!
